CEC European Managers strongly denounces the war instigated by the Russian President and stands in support of the Ukrainian population. We must protect democracy and remind all leaders in the EU to consider carefully how their leadership is best to put use to. We wrote to President Von der Leyen, President Michel and the High Representative Borrell to ask them to take all the necessary mesures to stop this war and preserve peace on our continent.

IWD 2022: more women in Leadership Positions in the EU
CEC European Managers has always defended an inclusive leadership and belives that our societies deal with too few women in managerial positions. As of today, the Gender pay gap reaches 30% among managers. Both voluntary and legislative measures are needed to narrow and close this gap between genders.

Managers are backing democracy
A recent survey by Eurobarometer, confirms that managers are strong supporters of the EU democracy. In correlation to our findings, managers would like to strengthen democratic participation through the European Parliament for instance. The study show that the low confidence in the EU Institutions is found among unemployed and low-income groups. This trend highlights the need to reinforce the Union's social dimension.
