EU Pact for Skills needed to get ready for transition
CEC European Mangers has, in its function as European social partner, participated in the EU consultation about creating a European Pact for Skills among various stakeholders.
In its response to the European Commission’s questionnaire, CEC has highlighted the crucial role of leadership in building a new European skill ecosystem. Without the capacity to green our jobs and align them to our vision for the future, skill development in the EU risks not being fit for the future.

CIDA presented the seventh survey on tax returns, revealing a highly unbalanced tax system with half of the population not contributing. This results in high burdens on managers, at a time of yet high rates of tax avoidance and aggravated circumstances due to the pandemic.

CFE-CGC France Fathers' leave to be extended
Frome July 2021 onward, the French fathers' leave duration will be doubled to 28 days, including 7 obligatory ones. For CFE-CGC, who originated the legislative proposal, this extension will allow to increase the uptake of the measure by men, who make much less use of leave entitlements than women.
